Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Wasumo collects, uses, processes, and protects your personal information and your WhatsApp group data when using our platform.

To provide summary services, group reports, transcriptions, and contextual answers, we collect the following types of data:

• Authentication and registration data: name, email address, Google identification (when applicable), and WhatsApp number for access, security, and sending private notices and summaries.
• WhatsApp group messages and voice notes: text content and voice notes sent in monitored groups where Wasumo has been actively added are temporarily collected. Voice notes are transcribed by artificial intelligence for inclusion in processing.
• Group contextual data: we automatically and anonymously analyze general topics and activity patterns to outline group category profiles, without any personal identification of individual members.

The collected data is used solely for:

• Automatic generation of daily, weekly, and monthly text and audio summaries using artificial intelligence.
• Sending summaries to your private WhatsApp number or to the configured group.
• Searching and answering user questions based on previously generated summaries through the contextual search engine.
• Automatic definition of group topics to assist in categorizing subjects in a consolidated and aggregated manner.
• Data export through the customer's authorized programming interface, including summaries, audio files, and contextual answers.

Messages and voice notes are sent securely and encrypted for processing using advanced language models (Google Gemini, with OpenAI as an alternative). Audio summaries are generated using official text-to-speech services (Google Cloud TTS). In compliance with our infrastructure partners' guidelines, message data is not used to train public or third-party language models.

We do not sell or share chat histories or user information with third parties. Wasumo values data privacy, adhering to a temporary storage policy: raw messages and audio transcriptions are permanently deleted from the database immediately after the respective summary is generated.

To enable the contextual search engine, consolidated summaries are stored and semantically indexed in our pgvector-based vector database. These summaries and history are maintained permanently for intelligent queries and may be used to improve the accuracy of the platform's contextual searches.

If you use our programming interface to export summaries, audio files, or contextual answers to your own third-party tools and services, the responsibility for data custody, privacy compliance, and ethical use of exported data rests entirely with the customer holding the access key.

You have full control over your group data. At any time, you can delete groups, deactivate Wasumo, or permanently delete your account and all history stored in our vector database.

For debugging errors and technical support, our team does not have access to your chat data or summaries, unless you voluntarily enable support access in the control panel, which grants restricted access that automatically expires in exactly one hour.
